First of
all, you should know two things: (1) the windows platform type on your computer
and (2) the make and model of your printer
.
(1) The windows platform type on
your computer:
For example,
the platform type might be listed as 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64)). To verify
the Windows platform type: click Start, and then click Run. In the Open box,
copy and paste (or type) "msinfo32" without inverted commas, and then
click OK. Here, from the System Information dialog box, you will find the
system type for your computer.
(2) The make and model of your
printer:
To
determine the make and model of your printer, you can check the printer cover
or the documentation that was included with your printer. Now, visit downloads
or drivers section of your printer manufacturer's web site and find the latest
printer driver.
Finally, install the downloaded files. Besides, read the installation instructions if there are any. That's all!
